Creating organically shaped forms from molten metal is a feat that requires great patience. Fortunately Phillips Collection's artisans are quite adept at working with the hot material and building it to a wonderful crescendo over time. Our Stalagmite Medium Polished Brass Lamp, which is made of metal in a polished brass finish, is such a creation. When the light shines through the fissures in the brightly finished metal composition that is placed atop a clear glass base, it creates a pattern-play on surrounding surfaces, reflecting the Phillips Collection ethos of modern organic.
